Personally i live in a town with nothing to do so people often turn to just for something to do. Hanging around streets etc but they have nowhere else to go so you canna blame them. Having only 36000 people in the entire area makes it small compared to cities etc but it's mainly peaceful, only trouble is if you find some gang of kids (anything from age 10+) or the gypsies that often hang around places.

Used to live in a pretty quiet area of montreal until eventually we started hearing gunshots and police sirens every night along with gangs walking around freely without even concealing their weapons. Moved up north about 7 years ago, the worst we get here is street races in the summer.

Grew up in Johannesburg South Africa, used to be the crime/murder captial of the world, cept now i live in probably two of the most sissy citys in canada lol, so it balances out to a regular childhood i guess...

i'm currently living in the suburbs so it's nice, safe, and boring around here.
this year i'll be moving downtown into Milwaukee, which has some pretty sketch areas, but i'll be staying away from those. the line between the "good" and "bad" neighborhoods in Milwaukee is so apparent. one of the most segregated cities in the US... and the crime in the bad neighborhoods can get pretty rough.
