yeah and my town's just like mini-boston mainly
rarely get any actual crime, murders or anything.
see people get punched and a lot, but thats about it

my friend, i do know.. i lived in East L.A. for a few years. i go there frequently(every 3 months) to visit my family and friends. illegal!!?? searching for a better life is not illegal! |

either that, or you need to re-read his post and think again as to whether he was labeling the whole race, or just those in his neighborhood, about which i bet he has a good idea. |

Well, it wasn't MY neighbourhood...but one night a bunch of us dropped acid and walked over to our buddy's gf's place. We went to the park to smoke a bowl, and next thing I know my friends are coming out of the darkness all beat up and bleeding, and then we heard gun shots. They got jumped by some thugs and rolled for all the drugs/booze/money they had in their napsacks. Pretty ed up thing to happen while on acid.
That happened in an area of town where most of the crime in my city used to take place. One of the worst things that ever happened was when a gang of 12/13 year old girls abducted an 8 year old girl, and beat the out of her, burning her with cigarettes and stuff.
I also got chased by a rapist in that area, lol.
I dunno...my mom has always lived in geared-to-income housing...so I've seen a lot of "ghetto" . More like white-trash ghetto though. Young moms with a whack of kids on welfare and . Wannabe thugs thinking they're badass. I used to feel like a different person when I'd visit her on weekends, cause I'd have to assimilate to the surroundings, lol. |

reminds me of staying at my grannies and the police arrested a child molester at the park just half a minutes wallk down the road.
The majority of crime caused in glasgow by a huge amount is white protestants against white catholics. The amount of violence surrounding this is untolerable sometimes.
When Rangers (predominatly Protestant supported football team) play Celtic (predominatly Catholic supported football team) reports of domestic violence against women go up something like 600%
Someone got shot in two with a shotgun last month standing out an Irish (catholic) pub having a cigarette. (Insert "Smoking Kills" Pun Here) |

You know, this thread really makes me appreciate how safe my city is.
There isn't anywhere I can think of in my town (anymore) that I would feel threatened if I were walking through alone.
I think the worst visible problem here is bums, skids, and crackheads downtown. |
