On the way to/from you'd pass a couple of dozen people beaten to death on the side of the road by the government militias and they tended to like setting things and people on fire.
After my mother died I gave up trying to keep the farm there, just way too dangerous with so many people getting killed all the time and eventually they tried to finish us off as well. It was a war zone, lost count of the times someone tried to shoot me over the 1-2years I was there, 6 years later, I still don't recommend anyone go there either!

Aside from that I now live in boring suburbia and quite content to never live anywhere 'exciting or adventurous' ever again.

Reminds me of Hotel Rwanda. Which was a great movie by the way.
squirrelly
Not rough at all haha. My boyfriend, our dog, and I live in a really nice area. :)

Although, when I first moved out of my parents house like five years ago, I moved in with a girlfriend of mine to what we THOUGHT was a nice complex... and in the first week of living there someone was shot and killed at our front gate. We were like  :nervous: :wtf:

yeah it is if you are doing it the wrong way. im not saying that they do or dont deserve to be here but they need to just go about it properly. i know too many people who do it properly and have no problems.
I know of too many Eastern Europeans who do it illegally and no one says anything about that. off you bastard. If they were white you would be saying sure come on over.

had i stayed in california i probably would've been in a pretty rough neighborhood...and probably would've gotten into a lot of trouble.

my colorado neighborhood is safer than safe though...
