My sister refuses to walk around alone after dark, but she's a :( It's rare that I even see people at all except on friday/saturday, and even then not many, let alone anyone even vaguely threatening.

Compared with some of you, I guess I live in the ing paradise. Robberies are like twice a year, murders once a decade (ok this is a little exaggeration, but not far from the truth). Where I study in it's a little different, since it's actually officially a town, but still it's pretty safe for its size.

My nieghborhood is pretty rough up here at NDSU, we have a few run-ins with free-range cows. Just lastweek a herd of em broke loose from the AG-Genetics complex and ran amok down by the student union.
There was a bombscare that resulted in someones gym bag blown up by a counter-charge.
A DC-10 landed on the train depot after the airplanes onboard computers under estimated the runway.
Other then that it was all good.
