I was one of those who couldn't manage a second night. Unwisely, after coming back from Love at 6.30 am, instead of going to sleep, we stayed up drinking and playing xbox. Bad idea.

Alright, so now that I am home from work.. I can get down to business :)

First, HUGE props go out to Marcello and Strobelife for getting this party together. You guys did an amazing job pulling it off. :)

I had a fabulous night. We started getting ready for this party after dinner. We were all suppose to go back to Kel's and get a nap in prior but then she put on some Preach beats and that was it, before you knew it I was up dancing around her livingroom and was too excited to sleep.. lol
I didn't know what to expect with the club having never been before, but it was definately a great venue to have it at. I was happy the A/C was on upstairs but once I started bustin my moves out on the floor, I was soaked from head to toe and no longer feeling the A/C at all.

Alex Pearce was a good opener. I hadn't seen him before and didn't know what to expect, but it was good. Kelly and I were the only 2 on the dance floor at that time though.

I didn't really wander too far from the upstairs for most of the night though.

Preach came on and that was it. I was stuck there for the next 3 hours. Philippe, you rocked the place as I know you always do. :D
From me seeing him in Ottawa last to now NYC, he was definately playing harder than I found he was playing in Ottawa. I was very impressed with the set and I know I even commented to him about it at some point in the night. It was good to see everyone else on the dance floor giving it as well. I knew that once you guys got to see him for yourself that you would be as impressed as Kelly and I have been for several years now. It is always nice when you see a DJ get into the music just as much as the crew on the floor. The energy this boy gives from start to finish is just unbelieveable. Thank you for an amazing night!!!

As for the NYTA's that I met. There are so many of you to mention, but I would like to thank all of you for showing me what NYC is all about. You guys know how to rock it out and were all so very pleasant. :) I will miss not being able to share many party nights with you. :(

Kelly and Wai.. girls, I am so glad that we did it up with the shirts... hahaha... It was so much fun. And Kelly, thanks to you and Yuis for all the hospitality throughout the weekend. This trip wouldn't have been even remotely possible if it wasn't for you. <3 ;)

I had the best weekend all around. Good tunes, good times and great friends is always key to the best nights ever. Thanks a ton!!! :D

I'll start by saying I know nothing about DJing. Anyhow since my knowledge is limited I don't know how many people actually do this but I wouldn't guess a ton do it but I was pretty impressed by Preach's use of both CDs and vinyl...something about a richer bass sound but either way looked kinda interesting and I was impressed :toothless

Side note, big props to Marcello and crew for putting this thing together. The location was just awesome, it had a basement type feel and it would be great to see more parties held there. Anyhow much respect for taking a chance on the night and I hope to attend other parties in the future.
