I will start out by saying that it probably reached capacity around 1~
I CANNOT stand it, when there are that many people in the club. It really shows how greedy club owners are... all they care about is money! I got trampled on a zillion times.. and whenever I got in the groove of dancing.. someone would come and push me out of the way!
ARR!!!!!!!!...
On a happier note.. it was awesome meeting all you TA's that I haven't met before. I can't remember all your nicknames right now.. it was kinda hard to hear what people were saying that night.
I thought Armin's set was great.. he did a good job.. and go figure, Mark Oliver played a good set too... he always seems to after a big dj has just spun before him. hahaha.. SHOW OFF!...
I think I need to go to a chiroprachter for life now.. my back is all messed up, and I was in pain for a good portion of the night!
Itikia.. I was the one who brought the stickers. Although, I thought I made too many, but by the end of the night.. I didn't have any left :conf: . And I only gave them out to the TA's... hrrrrm...
Anywaze.. all in all.. I had a good night... but I don't know if I am ever going to Guv again!... I just end up getting aggrivated by everyone else there... it was the TA's that I saw busting a move, and with smiles on their faces that made it worth it for me. (and the set of course)... Lates

Yes..there was alot of people there....BUT WHO CARES! armins set was amazing! Lucky for me I grabbed some couched early on, so it was in great.
The people there were great...Around 3 it started to pan out and there was lots more space to dance, which was awsome. SO yea, great night....but again..who cares about all that...man..armin's set was killer. |

Met the guy :p, he was really cool, in a great mood, chatted him up a bit and requested a few songs - one of which was Southern Sun, but he said he didn't have it! :(
Didn't make it for the TA meeting cause I went to see 'Amadeus' before that.. and from that side of music spectrum I jumped into a jungle called Guv with my mind doing a 180 degree flip.
But I did manage to run into Infinity High (in a trancEaddict.com T-shirt, with happy-I-got-in-and-nothing-else-matters smile), Waxen cutie with stickers, Blue_Neon & Mavspire who glued themselves to the bar and stuck together :D
Armin's set... I will have to say... hmm, that he tried too hard :o They were all awesome tracks, but it was just anthem after anthem, which is a proved formula for pumping up the crowd.. but I wanted to hear something new. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it a lot.. as I was sober and his energy really saved me.
As for the crowd.. nothing unexpected there and I didn't let that bother me.
All in all, it sucks to be sober, the main room looks cool and ready for a transformation.. didn't bring my jacket just so not to wait in line at the end & froze my @$$ when I came outside. |

Armin was awsome, a little harder set than at State, very high energy.
Does anyone know the song he played where it slows down and a man's voice talks about love or something like that, and then it kicks in?
The crowd was in my opinion better than the crack heads at Ferry, but still not the same as a Winter Galactic or Sonic State party.. All in all a great night |

Personally I found Armin's set WAY too progressive. I don't know what's your definition of an anthems, but according to my definition he didn't play enough. Communication, Airwave and a few others - that's about all the anthems I can remember.
I couldn't get into his set till about 4, when he played Tranquility Base - Rasorfish.
Overall, I don't think this set was as good as his set at State.
PS. It was funny seeing ex-owner of Solid Sounds stoned like crazy and dancing next to us. |

Last night was AMAZING!!! Armin was soooooo cheesey but good, and Mark was pheonomenal as always. It's fun hearing pure cheese once in a while...I had an amazing time, yea it was packed but whatever it started to got better around 3:30, the overcrowding didnt bother me too much, i stayed up on the balcony for the earlier parts of the night...as for the crowd, I dunno I thought it was good lol...???
The crowd seemed really into Armins set!!! I dont know where u guys were last night? Were we at the same club??? lol...I didnt get any attitude from ANYONE last night, i feel bad for u guys it seems like so many of you always have a bad time at GUV lol, oh well what can I say other than DONT GO ANYMORE!!! It would be nice if less people went to GUV because then there'd be more room for me!!!

are u kidding me!!! I thought his set was pure cheese...how much more anthemy do u want it to be??? He played Strange World, System F - Exhale, Agnelli and Nelson - Everyday, AVB - Communication and so much more, I cant remember too much from last night lol...his set was SOOOOOOOO EPIC!!! Aside from a handful or songs... |

ok I have to leave for work in like 30 min so for now I am just going to say that it was a good set, I'll give it a 7.5/10 but I was a bit disapointed again. Just like a few people mentioned he played mostly anthems, and a few other things, but I was looking to hear something new out of him. Once again the GINO'S were in full force, so that ruined my night just a bit! :stongue:
I am gonna write a little more later tomorow, cause that's when I get off work, but for now I am just going to make a track listing of what he played.
