spinal fusion surgery is only for people in their 40s and later. it accelerates the deterioration of the spine. Its like turning one of your shock absorbers in your car into a lead pipe. Reduces flexibility and blah.

So far ive been to 3-4 specialists and so far there is no technology available today that can cure it :\
Fledz
Yea spinal fusion is something you want to avoid.

What happened to you anyway, how did you get a crushed disc?

I dunno...little bit genetics. Im 6'1 and my family is usually 5'11. They tend to have bad backs and I rolled my car off a cliff hard:

Fledz
lol errr...yea. That would do it :wtf:

I have a bad back too. When I was around 10, I started getting really bad back pains. As the months progressed I found it harder and harder to bend down (touch my toes). It got to a point where I could hardly use my back to support myself.

I got directed to a specialist and after doing a full body scan (yes I have a complete xray of my entire body - it looks awesome :D) and then a closeup of my spine they saw the strangest thing. One vertebrae (a lower one) looked like someone had take a bite out of it. There was a chunk actually missing but no bone debris anywhere in sight. For the next 3 months I had to stay away from any physical activity except for swimming a few times a week and it actually grew back. Weird as hell and apparently it was due to overuse as a child, most probably from rough sports such as rugby.

lucky bastard hehe. yeah mines just a little black puck on the MRI instead of a healthy white liquid filled cushion. Ive had a bad back for years though and Its from a life time of mistreatment. summers spent hunched over books reading and years in school slouching in ty chairs no doubt.

im shocked it grew back though, thats nuts.
Fledz
Yes the doctors were pretty shocked too. Verterbrae's though usually just grow back like that when you're resting. At least not completely without any deformation whatsoever.

I'd take a photo of the xray but I'm not sure how well it would come out?

I'm tall (everyone from my country is) so that's pretty self explanatory. 197cm (6'5" for those of you still in the stone ages).

At least I won't go bald until like 70 :wtf:

Use by bodybuilders
Some athletes and bodybuilders also use GHB, as GHB is thought to increase the release or production of growth hormone. While there is some evidence supporting these claims, the actual efficacy of GHB for this purpose is unclear.
One possible explanation is that growth hormone is secreted increasingly when blood glucose levels are low in a condition called hypoglycemia. The use of GBL, GHB, some depressants, and insulin, all of which are notable of use by bodybuilders, lowers blood glucose, thus causing the secretion of growth hormone.

And it knocks you the out when you cant sleep due to extreme soreness... :toothless
