I still don't understand the logic behind getting rid of Thomas Jones. The guy consistently runs for over 1000 yards a season and never gets hurt, yet they give the ball to an unproven RB like Benson who IS injury prone. The Bears front office are clueless.

Doesn't matter anyway since the Pats are now 11-0. Jesus .

I was more annoyed by the Eagles than anything else, particularly since I had to stay up til 5 and had class at 8. I didn't really feel that the Patriots would lose at any point, honestly... even when down by 4 late in the 4th. They couldn't stop Welker and Brady made the plays when he needed to when it counted. Btw, that Moss TD should have counted, there was no offensive PI there and that was a 14-point swing. I didn't like how the secondary was giving up anything in the middle. Hopefully Belicheck will rip into his team for this and fix any weaknesses for the rest of the season. I think this will benefit more than it will hurt the Patriots.

That Chicago/Denver game had it all... massive big plays, kick return TDs, amazing catches. One question tho.. WHY DOES ANYONE STILL KICK TO DEVIN HESTER?!?!?! And right down the middle too by Sauerbrun. Idiot.

RIP Sean Taylor.

Wow, I am in shock that he has died. That's sad for his family and teammates. He's always been in trouble with the law, but this seems completely separate from any of his prior incidents. Really sad day as he was one of the best safeties in NFL and NCAA while only being 3 months older than me. RIP.

On a different note, very glad I didn't spend a second on last night's game. Also, can anybody tell me why NBC used their flexgame on Bengals/Steelers?? There are so many other great games and they chose that just because it's a rivalry game? Terrible.

I guess because CBS blocked Jacksonville @ Indy (it already were a Monday Night Game). And which other games were interesting? Tampa Bay vs New Orleans maybe.

If I didn't have dish I don't know what I would have done. I hate going to bars to watch games.

In Europe we had no problem to get the game. :stongue:

I'm calling it right now - the Minnesota Vikings are going to make the playoffs.

i say this. if minnesota does make the playoffs, many nfc teams do not want to match up against them, tavarius jackson seems to know how to manage the game properly without giving the ball away. their offensive line is real massive, so protection isn't a problem. we all know about their running game. their defense looks pretty stable. the only thing that seems questionable is their passing game. i have to say if minnesota has some glimpse of a passing game, i put them as top 3 in the nfc, because sidney rice can flat out run, and bobby wade can catch a couple of good passes.

Pats sure got lots of help from all the Baltimore penalties late in the game, not to mention that time out.
Wow, Ravens came o-so-close to winning it (again) on the Hail Mary at the end
