I think Norv is an offensive genius though. Especially with helping out quarterbacks. He also has tons of connections to create a decent enough staff since San Diego's all bounced. |

Reading this in hindsight was pretty hilarious. :stongue:
The Seahawks were handed the only two touchdowns they scored. :) |

when i said that, i didn't believe in Favre magic. what we saw on Saturday was Favre magic. we also saw Ryan Grant just pounding Seattle in the ass. if you're going to run 200+ yards in a playoff game, 99.999% of the time you're going to win. i did not expect Grant to bounce back from 2 crucial fumbles, and turn out that outcome. When the season started, i did not believe in their running game with Ahmen Green gone, no legitimate tight end, and no #2 wr outside of donald driver. i did know they had a respectable defense with kampman, KGB, barnett, hawk, and harris.
now looking at their squad, ryan grant, greg jennings, and donald lee has just surprised me this year. they filled key roles green bay needed this year.
a green bay-giants matchup looks very interesting, especially with the way the giants D handled the cowboys O during key moments in the 2nd half today. i don't know if the Packers line can handle the strahan-omneiyura combo. we will see .......
as for the chargers, congrats again to them for proving everyone wrong. is it just me, or do you want to slap philip rivers across the head, and tell him to shut the hell up. he's just trying to bad mouth everyone he sees. he's a walking john rocker ............. |

| WEEEE! Onto the AFC Championship to face off against the New England Cheaters! God I hate to upset a great team, but my jack ass Indy friends said it was impossible to lose to a ty chargers team. And so the taste of sweet victory today will only be sweeter once they stick it to Lance's gaylord squad of jag offs next weekend in Foxboro. |

Wait, so you wrote off the Packers after 2 of the first 3 plays of the game?
:conf:
I agree, going into the season the running game was a frightening prospect and things looked worrisome, but I had nothing but confidence in both Favre, the receiving, and the defense from the very beginning. Did I expect 13 and 3? Probably not, but I knew it would be a solid season - and that the odds that a team without any major "superstars", but solid players at pretty much all positions, is going to do well.
And Greg Jennings is one of the guys that I am absolutely ecstatic to have on the team - he's got great hands, and with him, Driver, Robinson, Lee, & Jones, Favre just had too many weapons.
The game against the Giants next week is going to be a great one - New York has an immense amount of momentum going into the game and have proven they can go into a rough stadium in the post season and play hard. It's definitely far from a walk in the park for GB, but I'm banking on Eli Manning not handling Lambeau well.
And to be fair, I was just busting your balls because GB really did blow the piss out of Seattle yesterday :p |

yes they did. then again, i would rather be a seahawk fan, rather than a cowboy fan right now, judging by their respective losses. the cowboys-giants game was a real good game, and the way the cowboys closed out the 1st half, it was not expected they would have a crappy 2nd half like they had.
as for the seahawks, they lost the game on their own from the start when they didn't give alexander enough touches. he may be getting over the hill or hurt, but he's basically the best position player they have, so they have to run the ball, especially in the cold snow.
and i did not doubt green bay immediately after that opening fumble by grant. i do know that it takes guts for a young running back to bounce back from an opening fumble, and run for 200 yards. some may still be shocked this was his first playoff game. |

Strahan's postgame interview was epic - I can't find video of it, but he said something along the lines of "We hope T.O. has his popcorn ready, and hopefully him and Crayton can watch the game from their home theaters."
It was hilarious. :stongue: |
