by far my fav LOL out of the past three years. so many good friends everywhere I looked, met tonnes of really cool people who knew how to party hard!
I felt bad for Blake J, seriously who yells out "armin" when the guy is throwing down? that also happened in windsor and its total BS. not huge into Jarrel's style but nonetheless it was out of order.
I loved Armins set, that guy knows how to rock the club when he is here and yeh Jay, i def did a double take when i heard roadkill! in love armin.
Didnt get to see much of Sanders set which i do regret but i was around for when he dropped the perspective space mix and oh i lost complete control and danced like a bell-end.
I know Danny T has a lot of hype and yeh he was pretty good, but seemed like he was spinning at 124bpm?! especially around 830/9 am where slowed right down.
Skybar was awesome partying with my windsor crew, def the icing on the cake.
One DJ who def needs a mention is Lazaro Casanova, that guy is sick! |

I have to say that Yahel was absolutely incredible. He blew my mind inside out and sideways. I have NEVER, EVER seen a vibe that intense - nor have I ever had the privledge of being exposed to such a master stroke of a performance. Incredible. Absolutely the star of the night.
Sander, as always - fantastic tunage. Real techy bangers, kept me bouncing for the short period he was on. Unfortunately, he followed Armin Van Buuren.
AVB: Absolute garbage. Aside from the occasional moment of intensity, it was all breakdowns and self-gratification. It was almost as if he felt like he was closing the night, which was super lame - I was really dissapointed at how much time he took - every time he gave one of his waves, I was just HOPING he would be done, and that Sander was waiting just around the corner - but time and time, I was let down. Brutal - last AVB set I see. |

WOW. this is all i have to say about this years LoL. Out of the past four years.... this was by far the best for me. My first time seeing Danny, and i was truly impressed. went a bit slow for a bit...but that is needed once and a while. i probably left the main room about 3 times....cuz danny just kept dragging me back. LOSING MY RELIGION--mind blowing. I heard it on the 2 part mix, but hearing it live....cutting out the sound "i think i thought i saw you cry...." the energy in that room was incredible. I have not heard those speakers put to such good use in a LONG time. an evening/morning spent with great friends and good tunes... riding on the Prog Train.... can't be beat.
after they fix that hole danny blew out of the guvy... be prepared for Sasha to blow it right out again next month!! |
