Danny T says Be Yourself..that is unless you are a lying, cheating, stealing, scumbag (pg. 6)

A contract was breached.

It doesn't matter how big a DJ he is, he had a legal agreement with the club and they breached it.

Beliefs are irrelevant when a piece of paper with your sig says you promise not to record a set.

So there!

Oh piss off with that. We are NOT all equal. Some are definitely better, smarter, more attractive, more talented, more whatever. More special, if you will. Danny IS one of those people.

I don't think he's godlike...but people should be able to respect his wishes whether they (people) agree with them (his wishes) or not...ESPECIALLY since there was a formal agreement. That's really the main issue here.

could someone post the set? i mean... its out already, so might as well....

This just shows the n00bness of today's crowds. Danny is a LEGEND, and MOST people know how he operates, and can respect and understand that. Jesus Christ...do people really not know who he is?? I agree that being all egotistical and diva-esque isn't always cool...but for 's sake it's DANNY TENAGLIA!! Yeah, he IS kind of a big deal.

And forget who he is and just think about the simple fact that an agreement was blatantly disregarded. Doesn't matter who was wronged, it's still total bull.

At least the guy has principles that he sticks to. Maybe if more people these days could say the same for themselves, they wouldn't be so baffled by his behavior.

I think this kind of attitude perpetuates the whole dj-is-god culture...yes, he had a contract and it was breached, but he shouldn't be considered any more of a victim because he's well known to people. To suggest that he deserves better because of his "fame" is lame.

I also like to rhyme apparently.

That reminds me Jeff, I have video of you at Footwork from last halowe'en and GVB from...?

I can get you the files if you want them. Also, any suggestions for video hosting so I can post some?

I don't think he, or any other DJ, should be treated as a god. But yeah, I DO think who he is should count for something. Not that he should be considered more of a victim (dunno why you got that impression), or that he deserves better. But definitely, yeah, more respect. I certainly do not have the same amount of respect for all people, because not everybody deserves the same amount, imo.

Anyway, I only said that to address the people who are complaining about his diva attitude, not understanding what he's all about. Who doesn't know this about him by now?? Jeez.

Sure, those people who do disrespectful things don't deserve the same respect as others who haven't.
But being a musician is a really retarded reason to give someone more respect than the next person who is not.

Pardon me if you and Danny are good friends and go way back or something and that's the basis for an otherwise odd sort of post.
