One of the lovelier nights out I've had in a while. And totally sober for 85% of it.

Anthem notwithstanding. I sing along to it, but it's utter e. And white lies, really? He camouflaged (sp?) that into a decent remix. But i suppose it wouldn't be paul without a fair amount of cheese.

Helen/Lenchik, so good to meet you!

edit: oh, and jon and albert, if i had the money, i'd pay you two to just be at my side all the time. we could have cocktails and pancakes and go shopping and then dancing 3 nights a week. or 4?

Incredible... I've forgotten what it was like to hear a PVD set, it's been more than several years since I've seen him, but holy crap, one of the best parties I've ever been to. It was my first Roseland party and my mouth dropped at how awesome it was. Good job Made, it WAS worth the $50 for once and everything was spot-on, including Paul's set! You guys need to bring Armin, Tijs, and all the big guys here, I felt like I was in Europe, or Los Angeles. The crowd was surprisingly good, minus the big fob contingent, but hey, they weren't as unbearable as they are at the 4"x4" box that is Pacha main floor.

Paul started right from the beginning, my mouth was dropped. Played "6am" and teased in "the bass" within the first 20 minutes. Victor Dinaire, awesome opening, I wish I caught more of it! The staff was pretty friendly and I didn't have any problems. Entry was extremely quick in a way that I've never seen Pacha or any megaclub be as efficient. Absolutely amazing night and Gerard, I hope you had a good time, I'm happy I was able to ring in your birthday with you, man, Happy Birthday :)

Met a lot of people last night, too many to name, but for the DC people (DCGirly and a few others I can't quite remember), I hope to see you all next weekend at Fur!!!

Here's some more pics from Burak:

just got home... last night was insane. does anyone know that track that was played for his first encore... the one that was like a ballad?

I had an awesome time, Roseland's sound system is so much better than most of the other venues in new york, just makes it so much more enjoyable when it can be played really loudly and yet its not straining the speakers. Paul did a great job I thought, and after ~230 or so when the main floor started clearing out a bit (who are the people that come to these things for like 2 hours anyway? why bother?) the night just kept getting better. Does anyone know which song was being played like right at midnight ~ 12:05 or so, it was right when the projector first came on, I loved that song and I'd love to find out what it was.

edit - the song I'm thinking of may be 6am, just listened to a preview on beatport, going to buy it and see if it is, I hope so :)

I had a great time, I was really impressed with the sound system and the lighting, its been a while since I've been anywhere with such a quality setup.

I loved hearing the classics, it really was a great set. I haven't listened to anything pvd since summerstage and had no expectations for last night. I was pretty much blown away.

he played Rank 1 - Breathing
just wow.

vids are coming...

ID - oldy i love this track he played it at one of his old maydays

I really enjoyed paul's first half of his set... the 4-5:30 mark kind of made me lose interest, especially when compared to his halloween gig. What was up with his closing? Off The World Intro and NYC vocals when he already played some version of this in the middle of his set?

OH WELL, it was still worth my 35 dollars ;D and the venue is always top notch!

Classic of the night for me; Wolfsheim - Wundervoll - Blank & Jones Remix :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

And he played Grand Canyon! \o/
