None of it is likely to become public because we're still learning the basics of producing. We also have fundamental differences in direction: he wants to make some sort of Orbital-meets-video-game-music fusion where as I want to make... well, epic house. So we don't really get very far. The goa track was an experiment mainly, to see how authentic a sound you can get simply by copying conventions. We also made a parody of minimal called "Hello, My Name is Klaus" to see just how hard it was to make. |

Not really, although it descended into grotesque parody of experimental electronic music after a while. We did most of it in the afternoon, went out that night and then tried working on it again at 4am, post-club. However I was so drunk that all I could do was crease over laughing at it.
The thing about it was that if you just over-lay lots of simple and seemingly disparate elements, you can get the very angular, strange funk of minimal. It's more about close attention to detail than any talent, particularly as you're hardly writing anything. |

not sure where you're getting that from, since you linked to biography.com (which doesn't have an entry for deadmau5) and deadmau5.com doesn't have that information, but it sounds like the juvenile stuff deadmau5 would write...
