Maybe because they aren't as inclined to have as much sex? |
I wasn't aware that women had any choice in the matter in Africa.
Lebez, don't kill me - it was only a joke, holy . CALM DOWN. |

| In support of Theresa's claims, let me just say that I am a circumcised male and have absolute NO sex drive due to my being mutilated at such an early age. It was a traumatic and barbaric event which scarred my will to participate in mammalian activities when I reached a mature age. In fact, I'd like to do a study on the correlation between males who have been circumcised and those who like to stay indoors playing computer games. I am sure the results would be staggering. |

That's an extraneous variable - though a good point - certainly does not account for the overwhelming results over such a large study:
That's pretty big.
There's really no such thing as 'definitive proof' ever - we can only make studies stretched over enough time and collecting data from a great number of prospects to the point where extraneous doubt is overwhelmed with statistical conclusions which either support or deny the study. |
There was also a study released in 2006 in some pediatrics journal with a strong statistical relationship supporting the circumcision = less STDs argument.

EDIT:
The same could be said for female circumcision.
"Women who are circumcised are less likely to contract aids!!"
I wonder why? Maybe because they aren't as inclined to have as much sex? |
stupidest comment in this thread. |

“It’s not a magic bullet, but a potentially important intervention,” agreed Dr. Kevin De of the World Health Organization. |
