I'm not saying NIH is wrong, but i would love to see a test group in a western country that isn't plagued with aids. Circumsised or un circumsised is somewhat irrelevant to me simply because i tend to believe that safe sex makes this irrelevant. (odd coming from me:p)Regardless of your penile stature you will most likely get aids if you dont use protection having sex with a carrier of the virus. I would also like to see the percentage of males in africa that are circumsised simply because the proceedure could be relevant to social class (aka a huge factor in hiv cases worldwide.) The percentage of aids cases on this continent is epic and it is imo a factor that could skew some of the results. Once again these are only personal conclusions and i dont consider them to be fact at all.
either way, meet my wang and don't forget to leave your feet hanging out of the stall.

All of those, particularly the part in bold, are pretty much reasons why Africa is the place studies like this should be done, not why it shouldn't be.
Largest sample group, most broadly applicable and reasonable results.
And safe sex has nothing to do with whether or not circumcision does or does not prevent the spread of STD's.
Honestly, I don't know why it is people want to argue in such a speculative way against well documented studies.

well i dont really feel like searching for them, but i have seen studies that state the exact same opposite as this.
1 year eggs are good for you
the next they are bad
then they are healthy again
then they are bad
everytime with well documented info to support their claim. Largest sample group indeed, but if only the wealthier of the group are circumsised do you agree that it might have a bearing on the study? I don't feel like arguing, the important thing is ive never had anyone say no to sticking my in their mouth just because it was dressed like a bohemian. |

What I think you're misunderstanding is that the facts of those studies really don't ever change - just the agenda's they're used to pursue. I.E. Eggs have always been good for you for one reason or another, so long as you neither eat them every day nor have any other conflicting health issues.
Beyond that, the NIH has full disclosure of just about everything you need to know regarding the societal status of the studies participants save for their names, so if you really are that concerned about the sample group being fair you could certainly read the full text of the NIH report to assuage your worries.
Not trying to argue, just trying to make sure you know that some of the biggest concerns you have regarding studies like this may not be things you need to be concerned about.
Edit: Though I should say that I also don't believe that a the results of a single study are indicative of any kind of causal relationship, or even all that high a probabilistic one.

I'm fairly sure they'd think to set class as a control variable. |
