I assume that they try to control for the number of sexual partners of circumcised vs. uncircumcised males.
Otherwise the studies are absolutely worthless. |

It didn't really work, then.
As I said before, I think it's more of a rite-of-passage thing. A lot of tribes still have circumcision as a "becoming a man" test for adolescents, just as other tribes have sticking your hand into a bowl of poisonous ants, and so forth. You show you'll take the pain for the tribe, you show loyalty and willingness to follow social conventions. The advantage of circumcision is that it's a permanent mark that can be referred back to.
These kinds of rites are probably much older than any puritanical religions trying to stop sex. |

I sympathize with the group that thinks it should be a choice, however being a circumcised male myself I have to say that I can't imagine ever choosing to have it done - so if I was going to be circumcised I'd prefer to have had it done when I can't remember a thing.
And I still like to both and jack, jack, jack myself - so meh, no biggie. :p |

How?
Everyone I know that has their wang chopped off is no different than you or the next person.
it's not like it affects their personality in some strange way where you can notice it half a mile away.
edit- I think what might affect a person later on in life is being forced to do something against your will. Like when a girl works at a strip club. You know her daddy never loved her.
Or some women that were raped as a child... can't commit by being a slore or not dating at all. You guys are acting like we remember things the day we come out the vag. We don't! |
