That being said, $20 still isn't bad considering the lineup, I just think the way it was priced and promoted should've been handled differently. Don't understand why presales need to be split into THREE different price groupings... save that for ticketmaster bs shows. |
Money.
Promoters don't get to capitalize on word of mouth all that often anymore. The Cheap Sunglasses party @ WMC basically gave these guys a free pass on their next turn, you can't blame them for taking advantage of it while they can.
This is very much still a "here today, gone tomorrow" business. |

Lol.. I'm going cuz of u guys but I just *wished* they did it proper. I mean put the word LIMITED before the price and ok.. I know it was my fault etc..etc.. But jumping the price 2x in one week is ridiculous.
Saturday I *might* go to Bleu and it's not to see J.Gabriel.. it's to see Bleu.
Still debating that. Prob won't even know till SAT-UR-DAY.
O .. nevermind it is Saturday wtf............ i'm getting my days mega confused haha. Stupid Sat-Mon partying! |

If it makes any difference, we're going to Bleu on Sunday because Mathias (Quadlow) is playing in the basement - we can probably get you listed, and we'll only be there for a bit (Mathias' set) before heading to Temporary Tattoos.
Bleu is somewhat of a cool place, but I am very, very unwelcome there these days - so I'm pretty much only golden to go on Sunday. |

I'll just go with a c0r version.
One of the guys who does the majority of the booking for them used to be a good friend of mine, but he took advantage of me (financially) in a big way and I chose to let everyone know about it rather than let him off the hook.
He's definitely made talking about me to whomever would listen a bit of a personal crusade the last few years as a result. Oh well, no big loss save for the fact that we do still have a few mutual friends, so I get to hear about it on the regular. |

So what's everyone Saturday schedule? I care more about that then coountless reposts.
I land around noon so I figure I'll get to DEMF at 2-3.. Def want to see Egyptian Lover, Joris Voorn and Moby dj set. |
