Also, re: temp tatoos, I know someone who is personally involved in a piece of the party, and it is doubtful that they will see any kind of profit. According to my friend they need to keep a # of guestlist spots open for all the additional DJs/producers/connected folks in detroit for the weekend who will most likely be stopping by. Add the fact that its only 300 capacity + the pretty huge line-up...and...yeah.
Just thought I'd offer a different perspective. |

Well I know they aren't trying to screw anyone. I'm in the business of throwing parties too so I know what a struggle it is and that they most likely wont walk away with much money. Like I said, $20 for that lineup is still a bargain.
I was just upset with the way the price increase was handled and not disclosed, etc. |

Party prices almost everywhere always increase at the door, so I would say it's a pretty safe bet this one will too.
my friend is buying extra presales for Minus and selling them for double at the door

Word, I'll let them know. They were in the #4 most popular spot on groove tickets over the weekend, pretty crazy. |
