Here you go:

Sony Ericsson C905 aka Shiho

The C905 is the latest camera offering from Sony Ericsson featuring a fully spec’d 8.1 mega pixel camera with auto focus, face recognition, a new feature called Smart Contrast, image stabilization, BestPic, red-eye reduction, xenon flash as well as photoflash for both photos and videos. It’s got a video stabilizer feature as well. You can geo-tag your photos with the built-in GPS with further support for A-GPS, and the large camera resolution makes it possible to do prints in up to A3 sizes! Your photos will automatically flip to landscape mode, when you tilt your phone, as it’s got a built-in accelerometer. You’ll be able to watch your photos on a beautiful 2.4 inch QVGA-resolution scratch-resistant mineral glass TFT display. Feel like sharing your photos on a TV-set? That’s possible as well with the TV-Out Cable ITC-60, also to be announced on the 17th.

None of this matters unless the flash is good. For night pics anyways. I have yet to see a pic taken from any camera phone that is as clear and bright as a regular camera pic (when taken at night - club type setting).

Well it does contain a Xenon Flash...

Have no idea if that means its a good flash..but I do love my Xenon headlights lol

Ask Ummie, he currently has a 5.1MP Camera phone and I think that he enjoys it...

So, these phones that are being posted in this thread, two questions.

1. How much do they cost?
2. Are they available in Canada?

Well, the Sony Ericsson C905 aka Shiho is apparently to be sold for €500. It would be less if you can buy them on a contract, but most of these phones aren't available in Canada, and will never be. So you have to buy them at a non-subsidized price.

I'm going to guess that this won't be available for sale in Canada from by Rogers, but you can use any phone that will work on the GSM network, so long as it works...

The HTC Touch Diamond - $750-$800 non-subsidized Price.

iPhone: $199.99 on a 3 Year Subidized plan by Rogers. You will not be able to buy the phone without a 3-year contract (speculation, but that is what is happening in the US)

That's for the 8 gig. 16 gig is $299 with the contract.

yup yup. I'm just curious to see what the non 3-year contract will be...

AT&T stated that the iPhone will be more expensive for the current customers who are already in a contract...
