If you were to order from the Australian link in this thread, you would have had the compilation by now as it's already released there.
UK release date is March 2nd, Europe a week later and US is still the best part of a month away on March 23rd. Order from that link if you can't wait.
To my knowledge, there will be no digital release of this album, so a physical cd is the only option. |

Well... after repeated listens of both CDs I gotta say they are not growing on me too much. Some really nice music, and I'll give props to Joris for trying something new, but overall I'm not digging either CD too much.

New DJ Mag says: “This is truly DJing 2.0 — Joris Voorn belongs in the pantheon of dancefloor titans for this instant classic”.
Just listened to a promo copy of the album .... it's the best dj compilation that I’ve ever heard, it's truly sick ! |

| Why Djing 2.0 ? What about RH's DE9 then ? |

| no idea what you mean here lol |

| I think shonguiz means that Richie Hawtine also did a '2.0 mix' on his DE9, but that RH never got mentioned/credited as such. DE9 also has that many tracks, if im right (plz correct me if im wrong). |

over hyped.
good, but not gonna get many repeats.
Hawtin's and Magda's efforts were way better. |

no. thats a personal thing. I dont like Hawtin's sound, and do like Voorn's sound. and I like this cd and dont like DE9 for a bit, hence balance 014 is better (to me) then e.g. DE9 ....
but thats personal flavour, not w/ respect to techniques. dont know which is better w/ respect to that (if any is ...) |

Got the CD when Joris went to zouk and they were selling some CDs. His live performance that day was much better than what he played in the CD. I never really digged Minilogue that much.
DE9: Closer to the Edit > This. |

CD 1 takes my fancy, I like most of the tracks especially the second half. CD 2 is a bit weird, some odd tracks but I think its just about taste.
+1, DE9: Transitions is my fave. |

That sums it up for me as well. |

i finally got this the other day, and yeah.. mixed feelings. some mixes are ing fantastic, some of them are terrible. the middle of cd2 almost ruined the whole disc for me.
in the end (and i haven't given cd1 a proper listen yet) cd2 feels more like a compilation of mashups than a coherent mix. i think joris voorn could've done a better job with this.
it's good, the concept is good, but the execution could've been better imo. |
