Perhaps the most exciting techno cd since Hawtin did Decks FX and DE9 :)

Hmmm.... I guess we'll see if he can pull it off or not.

Having listened to his RA podcast again (28 tracks in 55 minutes), I'm convinced he can pull this off.
enydo
Wow, I didn't even know he did an RA podcast, I'll have to check that out.

what a load of bull. Looks like a megamix ala 1994. 1-1.20 min per tune? Buuh

looks interesting. There is a chance like many have said that he has ruined the mix with such a crazy amount of tracks. One really needs to put a lot of thought and effort to pull that kind of a set off but I think if someone Joris Voorn can do it. And as said Hawtin & Magda have atleast done that succesfully in the past. In any case can΄t wait! Voorn is after all one of my all time favourites....

Voorn is the kinda guy/dj/producer who doesnt need to get excentric or extreme to get attention. He'll definitely has thought this through, as he's a real artist, a purist.
Also, some releases/tracks on his last (and previous) album are short (bonus-)tracks; typical DJ tools, or tracks which can be used for overlapping or interluding in-between. These are the kinda/sort of tracks he often uses for his mixes. He's not a dj who always mixes from 1-2-3-4-etc, with standard 5 or 6 mins time/track. E.g., 1/3 of the tracks from his last album are tracks of approx. 2 mins

I've never listened to techno a lot (though Voorn is an exception), but it might be useful to listen to VA - Fuse Presents Joris Voorn. This comp contains 40 tracks, mixed! (although i dont know if that cd is any good)

Although it now seems as if am defending Voorn pre-hand; well, i just dont think hell ruin this ...

Now, lets wait (3 months  ... )

Joris Voorn always delivers.

I'm convinced this time won't be an exception.
