Sorry but its kinda UGLY
elFreak
ummm you realize that the point is not to use nice jerseys, but ones that involve the team's history right?

you find me something from 1908 that you would wear today.

nice picks bertuzz.

i think chicago too, but it is too early for me to tell if they are real yet so i did not take the chance. Colorado will suck:p

ps lol at st louis making the playoffs spin:p

ugly or not, it's tradition and you've gotta respect that.

WSH is also super sketchy. They made the playoffs by the skin of their teeth last year, with Huet standing on his head and Ovech killing it. This year??? THEODORE. Hopefully, letting Huet leave won't bite them in the ass!!
elFreak
chicago does not have the best player in the nhl...and if semin stays healthy it will be easy for them to win a weak division.

theodore got his groove back last year...lets see if he can keep it.
Bertuzz
for sure.
theo is the make or break for that team's success.

here's another pics of all the jerseys, including all-star game:

So many reasons for so many of the places, but here's my shot at it:

EAST

4. Pittsburgh Penguins
5. Boston Bruins
6. New York Rangers
7. Ottawa Senators
8. Tampa Bay Lightning

9. Carolina Hurricanes

West
1. Detroit Red Wings

my pics..

East:

1. Philadelphia Flyers*
2. Montreal Canadiens*
3. Washington Capitals*
4. Pittsburgh Penguins
5. Tampa Bay Lightning
6. Ottawa Senators
7. New York Rangers
8. Boston Bruins

9. New Jersey Devils
10. Carolina Hurricanes
11. Buffalo Sabres
12. New York Islanders
14. Atlanta Thrashers
13. Florida Panthers
15. Toronto Maple Leafs

Tampa and Washington will fight it out to the end I think.. however, Washington is an Ovechkin injury short of imploding, as is Tampa with Lecavalier's rehabbing shoulder. I don't see a lot of depth on these teams but they will be exciting to watch.

West
1. Detroit Red Wings*
2. Dallas Stars*
3. Calgary Flames*
4. San Jose Sharks
5. Anaheim Ducks
6. Chicago Blackhawks
7. Minnesota Wild
8. Colorado Avalanche

9. Nashville Predators
10. Edmonton Oilers
11. St. Louis Blues
12. Vancouver Canucks
13. Columbus Blue Jackets
14. Los Angeles Kings
15. Phoenix Coyotes

ANF: I took a closer look at St Louis' roster :p but this team will improve..just not enough to make the playoffs. They will struggle to score some nights in the tight-checking West, as will many teams there, including my Canucks.

I hope Kovalev has a good season.. or someone's gonna photochop a 'K' on that vintage jersey :p

on the 20th of november we are coming to burn down kanata.

Kanata Burning.. with Gene Hackman in a Habs jersey, smirk.

That's gonna seem like a home game for Montreal.. particularly if they keep up the momentum from last season and the Sens start the season poorly. Ottawa's kinda weird in that it's fan base is divided into Montreal, Toronto and Sens fans, with Toronto and Montreal having a significant ratio.

elFreak
it is ridiculous how easy it is to get great seats for habs games in ottawa...it is like buffalo for leafs fans.
Spin Laden
how did you manage to do it, btw? I know some ppl tried to do the opposite but they couldn't use an Ottawa address or 613 area code (or whatever the reason was).
