they were all saying it is the worst thing that ever happened, when jose theodore was related to the ing gangsters.
edit: malek if carbo is such an amazing coach, explain to my why when trailing by a goal with a minute left kostopoulos and stewart are on the ice?
explain to me why the canadiens can't even play the trap properly, even though it is a system designed for players with no skill to defend easily.
explain to me why he changes the lines 45 times a game and pisses off the skilled guys by putting them with defensemen when they are playing for contracts.
explain to me why he insists on scratching begin for georges laraque, when begin has way more hits and points than him.
explain to me why that he repeats the same after every loss and just looks like he is lost.
if he was on any other team (best buddies with bob gainey here), he wouldhave been unemployed a month ago. |

I don't blame Carbonneau at all. It's not his fault. I blame our offense for not doing . Pacioretty is a great prospect but exactly that... a prospect.
Koivu... WTF are we keeping him around for? He's horrible. I say we trade him and Kovalev for Lecavalier. People might turn on me for saying this and be like blah blah blah he fought cancer but come on man... we need GOAL SCORERS!
Defense is playing better... both goalies looked fkn shaky last night but it was better than Carey and that Edmonton game...
Kovalev told the Russian press he blames the young guys for partying too much... I know Ryan saw Hamrlik and the Kosyns (cry me a AHL river Sergie) at Cherry a few weeks back on a Wednesday... and my gf saw both brothers again at Globe last week... but come on... as long as theyre not drunk on the ice *cough* price edmonton *cough* I don't care!
My money is on Kovy going somewhere else next year and in typical Montreal fashion having his best season EVER.
But Jay I agree putting rookies on the ice with that little time left is a mistake that I hope Gainey brings the strap on to Carbo. |

ugh, Carbo is not perfect... but he still has the best record since Pat Burns... he must be doing something right no? |

Things are certainly looking very bad right now. I dunno if you guys have watched the press conferences (Carbo, Gainey and Kovy). RDS has them. They were certainly calming. There is a storm going on right now and for once it's not only the media's fault. Some of the jeunes have finally gone overboard (Hammer already looked like a gangsta anyway). Funny though, we all thought it would be Pleky to be most likely to be a mob boss. He showed it last night (thank god!).
First of all, if anyone knows ANYTHING about the Habs:
- Koivu is the best. Don't even try to argue that, or you just don't know hockey and have not been watching this team for the past decade+
- Kovy is returning with something to prove and I'm certain that it's going to be trouble for the opposition
- Gainey has the club on lockdown
- Carbo still has one mission (listen to his PC): Win the Cup (with Kovy btw)
- AK46 is revving up again
- Max Pac is everything we've ever wanted
- Good 'ol Snidy has pumped our PP (and got his first goal...again last night)
...all boils down to one thing.. Defense. And that includes a M. Carey Price.
Things are in the trash right now, but that's what's going to make for the dramatic comeback season. Fans have to stop hating and start supporting. Go Habs Go! |
