as much as i think that bettman is a little rat, i don't blame the cup not being back in canada on him.
if anything the salary cap and a few other policies he put in (BIG EXCEPTION ON THE REVENUE SHARING POLICY), has actually given Canadian team a better shot at competing then they had before it was put into place. |

This adds more intrigue to the situation as it was reported by RDS Monday that Schneider required season-ending surgery. Montreal brass, however, won't confirm anything about the injury - only that he will not play against the Rangers Tuesday. Stay tuned."

| i saw that too, the thing with that being, schneider's personal physician is based in Manhattan. My gf works at BC, and she saw him in a sling yesterday. Fingers crossed still. |
