Do you want to have kids? At what age? (pg. 15)

I think you might have either missed this part, or I just wasn't very clear at all (probably this), Enrique:

The thing is, Jamie was right (at least based on my experience) - self analysis can be a great thing, but sometimes you just have to get out of your own ing head for a bit. You'll drive yourself nuts examining your faults, and it's quite clear you already at least have an idea of the things in your life that make you happy - so I have a good feeling that you know how, and have the ability, to at least work towards it.

I guess that's the only thing that gives me serious solace when I get locked into thoughts like that - I genuinely believe I'm capable of getting the things I want, and smart enough to know how to do it. I'm sure JBJ falls into both those categories as well, and it doesn't mean anything will happen, but belief that what you want is within your ability is at least reassuring for me.

Basically what I meant was when I start thinking all that kind of negative is when I need to realize that analyzing every little aspect of myself is absurd, stressful, and counterproductive.

I don't regret my education, nor do I think that where I came from or how I was raised was somehow "bad" or "worthless." Quite the opposite, actually, I feel lucky to have had the kinds of surroundings I've had because without them I wouldn't be who I am today, and I'm quite happy with who I've become to this point in my life.

ok, so maybe my calling was a bit far-fetched and inaccurate to some extent. i just felt the need to call your attention and share my thoughts and try to motivate you. it's just that i've become that kind of person, i care for a few number of people (very few) and I sort of hate the rest of the world.

It's all well appreciated - I just think there was a bit of miscommunication here. ;)

As far as motivation goes - I haven't exactly made a thread about it or anything, but I did take a pretty sound job about a month ago, so yeah - I haven't been slacking on the job front. :p

:stongue:

I went out and purchased my first wardrobe full of "work clothes" the other night and honestly felt like I had Patrick Bateman's inner monologue running through my head the whole time.

Very strange to have gone from buying nothing but sandals and t-shirts for basically my whole life to linen dress pants, nice shirts, ties, and black dress shoes.

:wtf:
