Avalon vs. Vangaurd.............. (pg. 8)

This was a really helpful thread for me, since I'm moving to LA at the end of October. I've heard some really good things about King King. There seem to be decent talent playing at that venue. Everyone has different views of Vanguard and Avalon so I'm still terribly lost. I guess I will have to see for myself.

see and judge for yourself... they're both quite good. remember... its all about the music

personally, I constantly heard the Vanguard crowd was a bit more acceptable than Avalon's, until the last 3 or 4 months...have heard Vanguard's crowd is becoming worse and worse

Definitely Vanguard.

Avalon is full of posers and muscle heads and the sound is awful.

And Vanguard is full of clean shaven good smelling people... loll Whars are you saying??? Have you been there lately??

For a club, I think it would depend on what type of music the person is interested in checking out. If you want a hassle free club with a really cool vibe that has 3 (or 4) rooms of music, large patio area with a Mexican grill (for your eating pleasure) and .... yes there is more, then I would say Circus of course! NiKiTa @ Circus to be more exact! :D

JCIZZLE!
I think both venues are great, Vanguard has a great bar staff and the fattest security guards in the ing city. Avalon, love the bar keeps. As far as the rest goes, both of the people running their perspective promotions stuffed their dicks so far up my ass am looser than a Santa Monica blvd working girl .

Continue success to them all...

Avalon needs to get rid of all the washers! And should hire me as artistic director ;)
