chem, i beleive all of your examples have been pretty silly

well considering you work for a big company that most liekly has extensive rules and regulations about this sort of thing, if hit the fan in your company im sure someone would have to take the blame for it, and it would most liekly be the drug users taking the fall, and if they got away with it, the managers who let them get away with it would get fired.

compare that to the comfort zone which pays off the police so that they can allow these rules to be broken.

there is such a huge difference between the situations even though youve made them appear to be equal. in one case it is the individuals who are breaking the laws, in the other case it is the business that is breaking the laws

You know what???

I have my own reasons for the Zone being dead to me...So I'm not going to defend it...

But everything you've said....Makes you sound like a complete moron...

And your grammar is deplorable...

I must admit that I have only enjoyed about half of the times I've been at CZ. The times I didn't have fun were times where people were so incredibly ed up that it was like watching a bus full of nuns t-bone a cattle truck in slow motion. I just hate seeing people in that state.

As it is, I wouldn't care if CZ closed down. The place really is a disgusting hole.

But I'll be damned if the tunes aren't incredible almost all of the time.

LOL ... i don't think the business will close becuase of Skipper's opinion ... is it okay for people to speak out and express themselves freely? so what that she doesn't like CZ, I've noticed that it's hard to have your own opinion over here.

As for what I think ... if the cops and the city actually manage to close CZ, it ain't gonna stop just there, they'll find a new venue to pick on, there are larger problems to deal with, I don't get why cops are raiding clubs, when they should be hunting for drunk drivers :conf:

zone and other afterhours are necessary part of society. take some sociology courses and you'll find out why
Ravist
if CZ closes another one or two afterhour clubs will open someplace else. Also anywhere where there's clubs there's going to be a sketch factor whether people use GHB, extacy, alcohol, etc
Cribby
almost post.

I got a serious question here..

So when the police went into the CZ and found the empty viles on the floor those were the employee's viles? The individual clients are the ones breaking the law.

The CZ has to show they are doing what a reasonable and prudent business, in this case a club, would do to prevent people from entering the club with illegal substances and doing illegal activities.

Like any club in Toronto, you are searched for any drugs and weapons...if you are caught then you either loose the items or you are not allowed into the club. If you are caught doing drugs or selling drugs you are removed from the club. If the club doesn't do anything when they see these activities then they should have to answer to whatever charges are appropriate. Yes, the CZ and many other clubs know there are drugs being done but if they don't catch you in the act then they can't do anything.
