"They're in the zone, buddy," said Const. Robert Tajti, referring to both the physical location of the patrons and what appeared to be their chemically induced state of mind.

The most concerning part of the article is where it states that CZ is only operating under the pretense that it's appealing the decision to have its liscense revoked. The odds are not in their favor to win that battle. They could easily get rejected due to all of the negative press that's been going around lately. On top of that you have conservative activists, with no connection to the club scene whatsoever, who like to stand on their soap box and scream at the top of their lungs until those in charge start to listen to them.

The future does not look bright for our dark and lovely basement.

I'll say a prayer. Zone better still be going strong for New Years.

im sure this crackdown on clubs will slow down now that condo projects are starting to be delayed. Miller is getting desperate. He wants to offer zero taxes on new condo projects. Go figure...
Skipper
I agree we have too many condos, but I would still rather have a condo building go up than see the zone continue to operate.

The zone isn't any worse then any other afterhours club in town.

Lets just close every club down and ban music....it would make things much easier.
Jayx1
apparently councillor mammaliti wants to ban music that "induces violence or degrades women" and regulate calming LED lights instead of intense strobe lights. Remember this is an elected politician with power to make laws saying this BS
