hahahaha....i laughed out loud AT WORK when i read that line. Amazing. This article actually made the zone sound not half bad except for the safety issues...i.e. electrical panel exposed. It basically gave readers teh impression that it's a place where people go from all walks of life from to dance their asses off to great house music...and yes there's drugs, but what they found was fairly minimal. i def. think it came off more positive than it was probably meant to ;) |

I think we are all capable of understanding that there are many different views on CZ some love it some hate it ... skipper does not like for fairly justified reasons ... there are many other people on the board that don't like CZ much more then her and are open about it but you don't attack them ... this thread has gotten way to out of control considering its a war of like 12 vs. 1.
we have pretty much heard all the valid arguments (from both sides) now ... make up your mind and keep it to yourself, no ? or at least stop attacking people. |

I have to respond to the people who keep talking up Footwork.
Footwork is one of the best house clubs in the city hands down, but it has to be noted that a lot, A LOT of the people who party at Footwork also party at Zone. Hello! If you think Zone's sketchy and the people who party there are crazy then you obvoiusly don't know too many people who party at Footwork, or in the scene for that matter.
The Toronto scene is an entire network clubs, partiers, djs and promoters. If you think you can single out CZ as a "hole" and make general statements about the people who go there, then you obviously don't know too many people in the scene. |

You have to take into count though that CZ is still an afterhours club while Footwork isn't.
I'm pretty sure if Footwork continued to run the same way it currently is, but was open from 6am -4am on Sunday, you would see the same kind of 'sketch' that is described at zone.

Exactly....its all the people that love and hate the zone that have misunderstood the issue we have here....it appears there tiny little minds can't look past their hate or love for the zone. |
