Anyway, here's a text I got from someone I thought was one of my close straight producer friends:
"Gay marriage didn't pass, but i didn't want it to only cuz the next step after that would be gay pda in front of children and that isn't a natural way to be raised or something to appropriately influence a sponge minded infant thru adulthood."
I'm waiting to confirm whether or not he's serious, and then going to flame the out of him. This is someone that blatantly hits on chicks all the time and whores himself out every time he's drunk, yet seems to think that is appropriate to expose kids to.
One of my friends said this will be contested and taken all the way to the Supreme Court, which I think will still fail gay marriage thanks to Bush appointing two new conservatives to it. |

And that's how gay marriage was narrowly banned in California: because of fallacious ads equating gay marriage to teaching children how to be gay in schools.
Meanwhile, gay-rights advocates filed a legal challenge against Prop 8 in the California Supreme court today (I know already). |

I don't see this so much as a gay issue. People who don't necessarily want 2 get married can't be by their partners side if god forbid something terrible happens to them?

Atleast that's the fl one. Not sure about prop 8.
Edit- I know it is also for gays but I think it's fuked up no matter if it's 2 of the same sex or not. |
