| LOL! You're there to work not to party, get gifts and to expect anything other than what your pay chcheque says. Silly people, raises are for strippers. |

Are you still getting your Christmas/Yearly Bonus? How about a raise? I'm still getting my Christmas bonus, but I know quite a few who are not getting any bonuses or raises this year. That to me seems to point at poor management. IMO, taking care of your employees is paramount for a company to be successful, and not even giving your loyal workers even a $200 bonus seems downright ty. This money should have been set aside many months ago, and frankly there should be no excuses for not having it. |
I haven't been able to find work for months. I'm losing my apartment in about a month and a half. Will probably be living on someone's couch at that point and will be forced to move completely out of state if I can't land one soon after that. My mom is ill and I don't have the money to visit her. Been living off of cheap protein powder, water, and toast. It's not like I'm used to any of this either. I spent my last office Christmas party as a well paid paralegal on a company yacht.
You have got some ing nerve :happy2: . Let me know if you wanna trade places. I'll be happy to take a position w/o a Christmas bonus :stongue: |

| I'm just happy with having been gone for a several months for school, and then being allowed to just pick up hours over the holidays. Even after the manager at our store got switched several times. |

imo jobs are about perks. work somewhere where you are gonna get something extra. all jobs pay money silly. honestly knowing i don't have to buy tickets to see my favorite sport is key. i also like that i've gone to a couple concerts this year for free and always in the company suite. its those little incremental add ons especially since i won't be making more money |

I'm sorry about you're luck bro, but there are jobs out there, it's just probably going to be something you wouldn't usually want to do, but a paycheck is a paycheck...and it's only temporary ;) |

blake, im with you. still unemployed.
having the same problem. been all over the place in the job market from interviewing for audio engineer jobs, to finance. got offered a stock broker trainee job but no way in hell would i be able to live off 1000 a month for 6 months working 12 hours a day into i get my series 7. talk about slave labor.
rest have been interviews with no1 hiring me.
i'm trying this other financial firm that gives me a decent base salary and sponsors me into i get my series 7 thats livable, but that type of job im expecting to work 12-14 hours a day on the phone.
but hey, i might make my first million soon doing it so its worth it to me. |
