and you don't think G'NR revolutionized a generation?
nirvana started a ty little trend called grunge music which died the same day kurt blew his head off. all nirvana did was open the gates for ebtter bands like pearl jam and soundgarden.
edit: I'm pretty sure bleech was a demo album |

Not at all when bands like Motley Crue, W.A.S.P., Maiden doing everything that they were doing years before GnR came to the Scene
GnR didn't innovate anything and they didn't revoltionize anyone...
If you want to talk about the greatest band of our time it would be U2...
U2 is the most succesful band of the 90s...and their sound evolved from the early 80s to the 90s
U2 > GnR ....in terms of Greatness and Success |

Greatest band of our time.....and thats the truth |
Sorry, Eric, but I think even Oasis is more relevant to "our time" than Guns'n'Roses :p
And Nirvana contributed more to the history of rock music than Guns'n'Roses as well. As I recall it, grunge music pretty much killed heavy metal, as those guys from the American Northwest came up with something fresh. As for Guns'n'Roses... I don't think you could say anything like that about them. Can you? |
