AF is moving me there.
oklahoma city wouldn't be so bad...but ing ENID?! i mean, it could be worse....but the socical circle is going to go down. WAY down from here in shreveport. in hindsight that might be a good thing, but at the same time, i don't want to end up alone. that's what i think ultimately made me depressed; and why i drank so much when i was with friends, cause i didn't want to let go of it all.
i could have rejected the orders, when they first came out...but at the time i was like, "get me the out of this squadron, i want somewhere else" . i volunteered for vance afb (enid, ok). hell i even ing volunteered for minot, nd! |

Tinker AFB (which is in OKC) was not on the list. you can only volunteer for places that are on the list at that particular "move" moment. its all about timing. my coworker's "move" list had places like England and Italy on it. mine had enid, minot, laredo, and ing knob noster missouri. :mad:
if its any hindsight, i'll be in the as far as weather is concerned. i love severe weather. and i'll be getting plenty of it!!!
and no, i haven't seen milk yet. but shall soon.
and yeah, OKC is 90 miles away, Tulsa is 110, and Wichita, KS is 120 :( |

Why not Minot? LOL I mean, if you fall off the wagon at least you'll be not noticed because the rest of the base is losing Nuclear Weapons all over the place. |

Hey Will. This is the first I have seen of this thread, and I am really glad to see that you're going through with the "rehab". You're an awesome guy and you can be so much... there is no need to ruin it with alcohol. I hope things go well - stay strong, keep your head up and remember that you control your life.
