This was probably the best event I've ever been to. I was wondering how the production would be set up since for the most part, as previous visual setups tended to be disappointing (with the exception of this past nocturnal on the main stage). I was hoping for an amazing setup, and imo, they delivered.
I had VIP, but the area they had for us completely sucked. Although the lines to get in were relatively short, inside, none of the visuals reached the vip area. It was boring as hell and didn't want to look at ugly railing all night, so we tried out different spots in the arena.
The floor was a complete disaster. Too many people, too much shoving around, and just not a good place to try to dance (as is the case at every massive at the sports arena). We went upstairs, found some seats and stayed put for the night.
CD's skipped and sound went out a few times, but eh.. it's better than the power going out and completely killing the party like it did during Tiesto's set at etd POP, so kudos for that I guess.
Music selection was great, I especially enjoyed the last few hours. People were way friendlier with the light shows than previous events, but again, I just HAD to hear someone ask, "Who's the DJ that's spinning?" UGH.
The Obama excerpts were a great touch. That was really inspiring for some reason.
Left about 15 minutes before the end, just to get a slight head start on finding a taxi. Some of them were charing $30 or $40 bucks for a $10 ride!!!! What a bunch of pricks. The half-decent taxi that we finally found still tried to rip us by going perpendicular to our destination for a few blocks. Shady shady people.

Well, glad it wasn't New York, then I woulda missed the show! ;) I was more confused and annoyed than upset. Then I wondered why he couldn't just get some girl drunk and talk her into going home like a normal guy. He's lucky I didn't spike him with my heel, they were new shoes and sharp as hell...but then again I probably would have been sued for 'emotional damages' and I'm pretty broke from the trip.

Awwh, he's still with her? Thats so sweet. I was wondering about that during the show. I didn't think he'd married her already; last interview I read they had been together for like eight years. Then again, it might have been an older interview.
