Holden's Igloofest set and Holden's NYE BC Night set might contain some of the new Fake tracks.
Turtle appears to be the name of one of the new tracks.

The "Turtle" one, if I am not mistaken, has been around for a while. I think it was even on Fake's Essential Mix from back in Jan/Feb 2006. But he tends to constantly rework his tracks, so the version that will be on this EP may be a lot different.

I got my hands on the sampler. The tracks are as follows:

01. The Turtle
02. Basic Mountain
03. Castle Rising
04. The Curlew
05. Narrier
06. Fentiger

I am far more keen on his Drowning in a Sea of Love downtempo/experimental sound than his techno sound. He retains his distinguishable Nathan Fake sound throughout and it's not bad, but I much prefer the melodies and progression of the tracks on Drowning as opposed to on here. An extended cut of Narrier would be nice as that's one fierce piece of techno though and easily the stand-out for me. Fentiger is fun with that melody that comes out of nowhere at about 3 minutes in.

7/10 for me on this one.

Well it is TECHNO, man. Can't listen to a Techno album expecting much melodyzz. Nice overview though, I can't wait for it.
