I'm not going to change my opnion. What I'm saying is, I will enjoy listening to them more in better quality for obvious reasons but that wont change my opinion on the tunes themselves. |

| Heard almost all tunes from the EP this saturday at Watergate. Holy lord, Narrier is such a massive tune. That bassline is making me go crazy. |

Very good. To be honest, this was the best mixed set I've heard from him yet. The first 1 1/2 hours were almost identical to the latest set but then he started to pick out the new stuff. Some real monsters in were in there. I could have killed the resident DJ, who put on boring minimal sound after Holden finished at 7:30 in the morning.
It was my first time to Watergate and the sound system blew me away. So crips, clear and as made for James' sound and his wobbling grooving basslines, but a bit too loud for my taste.
It seemed only Clark's Growls Garden could beat the out of the system. :D |

you don't have to go to figure that out, he is so predictable.
plays most of the bc catalog
plays some of the same he has been hammering for 3 years
insert junior boys and hot chip tracks.
plays remixes of radiohead or popular music
plays what will be out on bc in about a year or 2.
rinse and repeat with half assed mixing:p
this album is so disapointing, i really hope bc ing snaps out of it. |

I don't think that's exactly how it goes. i.e. He plays a lot of weird DFA stuff all the time too. |

i forgot to add that.
i've seen him quite a few times over the years and it always seems to be similar. |

Meh, I think he's just one of those guys who's really confident in his musical tastes and people either like it or not. I admire it for one.
edit: you also forgot Maria.:p
Not that I mind; I can't hear that tune all day. |
