I can't tell you how many free things I've gotten since moving downtown! lol Deodorant, Frank's red hot (like 4 times), ice cream sandwiches, paper towels, shampoo, monkey snacks, chocolate, wafers...

Snacks FOR monkeys? Or snacks MADE of monkeys?

And I got like 30 of those travel Degree deodorants from last tiem I was in Toronto!

No way. Poutine is disgusting. Cheddar cheese sauce on fries is where it's at. Hell, cheddar cheese sauce on EVERYTHING is where it's at.

As for the monkey snacks go, I dunno, they were just monkey snacks. They were delicious.

Lunch was good. Thanks. Free water was being passed out across the street so I was all set.

How were they distributing them? I was thinking of going to just get some fries and gravy, but had other things to do.

They had them premade in the truck. The portions were about half a small. Decent line up though.

DEFINITELY nasty. I tried the subway breakfast once and threw mine out. I'm glad I didn't try it again today. If there's one thing I learned from Burger King's free breakfast that one time, is that just b/c it's free doesn't mean it's good! lol

Also glad I didn't get the poutine. I was hoping they weren't pre-made b/c then I'd just get fries and gravy. Oh well.

Public Mobile offering 50% off phones plus 1-month free service
By Ian Hardy on August 23, 2010 in Public Mobile

Another new entrant has decided to slash prices and give free service. Public Mobile operates in Toronto and Montreal and offers a couple Unlimited Talk and Text plans ($24 or $40 per month). They have 4 devices in their lineup (ZTE C78, Kyocera Tomo, Samsung R312, Kyocera G2GO) and here’s the deal when it comes to their latest promo. It’s pretty simple: Until September 12th or “while supplies last” they’re giving 50% off select devices and also 1-month of free service.

Even though they have 4 devices, 3 of them are on sale:
Samsung R312 now is $62.50 no-contract (was $125)
Kyocera Tomo now is $60 no-contract (was $125)
Kyocera G2GO now is $90 no-contract (was $125)
ZTE C78 stays at $70
