Once these things go to court it will be there for as long as several years. Circa's lawyers could easily drag it out as long as possible till they either get the funds, or claim bankruptcy protection... then the web host will be screwed for sure.

Not quite how it works.

If a statement of claim is issued, the defendant has 10 days to enter a defense. A judge would review the defense, if they find it legit, then it might see a courtroom. If they find there's no merit to the defense, a judgment would be issued against the defendant for the balance plus the plaintiff’s legal costs.

If the defendant still didn't pay, they would probably be subpoenaed to attend an examination in aid of execution, where they would be required to present detailed financial records and answer questions under oath. From there if they still refused payment it's possible the courts could put a lien on assets, bank accts... Seizure and sale of an asset... or money from a bank acct... But more then likely they'd end up settling before any of that were to happen.

It wouldn't be in anyone's best interest to drag out a 45k claim for several years. No one with half a brain would do that.

Not the case. Even if I didn't work with Ink I'd still say the same thing. Why? Quite frankly cuz I think Circa's a piece of . The crowd sucks (even more z103 - tiesto loving types). The layout of the place sucks and clearly was not designed with the intoxicated/otherwise messy person in mind. I've always favoured the Guv without question, and Im not the only one.

I could go on but...let's get back to business here.
Squillace at Skybar on Saturday anyone??
hehe.

You forgot one thing. It takes another 12-18 months before it even sees a courtroom.
