| these guys seem to have shifted from tech back into a proggier sound. Not sure if I like it. Everything I've heard from them recently is making me reconsider going to B&B... but it's Sasha & Digweed and these guys are kings of big rooms so I'm pretty sure they will deliver in Montreal. |

| there's some tech in there too, and mind u we're only hearing a chunk of that set, not the whole thing. But hey, as long as we keep talking about this gig and not the balenblanc crapshows, all the better :p |

Henneberg is playing tech house nowadays and the set that Passkal posted in that thread is 10 times better then this S&D set, there are plenty deep/techhouse El freak sets that kill this S&D set as well. It isn't the techno my friend, I think it is our great memories from incredible party December 2007 might be blinding our judgment just a little bit :rolleyes: |
when i think of S&D i dont think of tech house, ya they play some but thats what not what comes to mind. Although now im seeing Digweed play alot of techno; i associate S&D with progressive.
plus like ray said, dont expect this at a big room Montreal event, ur judging two of the greatest djs on a partial set that u just heard
My fav genre is tech house, but i cant listen to that only, im listening to alot of Deep house even some funk now and days.
stop being a techno elitist and enjoy other types of electronica...theres plenty of good thats not tech house/techno

Not saying that S&D is tech house... It's just what they play right now doesn't WOW me. What they used to play 2 years ago still does... See the difference, talking about the same 2 djs here. This isn't the only set I have heard from them in the past few month and to be honest the others are no better.
None of this matters though, because I am still going to the party, and we are all still going to have a blast and I am sure they will rip Montreal a new once again. |

most of those sets from Space whether it was lawler or Lopez were juss a mix of prog and tech house...that was in May..
if u wanted to listen to techno/minmal..check out Dubfire's set...more to your liking! |

i guess S&D are not the best of the best maybe anymore, but they still know how to throw a party...im going tooooo! |

wow you guys, is the set that bad? I found some good tracks midway thru that would sound decent in a big room, imo.
Maybe these guys ARE overrated. Maybe they should wear mammal masks of the rodent variety. |
