wow you guys, is the set that bad? I found some good tracks midway thru that would sound decent in a big room, imo.
Maybe these guys ARE overrated. Maybe they should wear mammal masks of the rodent variety. |
Not that that the set was that bad...not the kind of set i would post to promote this kind of party. Its not the kind of prog from Diggers at Aria a few years ago...the guy had me still dancing my ass off at 11 am. This set doesn't. I'm not a huge prog fan at all...
I wouldn't be a digweed/Sasha fan either from the stuff i've heard lately but guys like need to be scene live at big events like this...juss my 2 cents. |

I dunno about you but I'm lucky to find even 1 out of 10 downloads that will make me dance in front of the stuff animals these days. This set isn't one of those but I stand by the comments that there's some good stuff within..
Sasha at Aria was memorable for me too :p |

If the DJ plays for and with the energy of a crowd, you will never totally feel or understand the real impact of the set at home.
The sound of the club (the event), the mood, the lights, the time, the energy and mostly cutting 1 hour out of anywhere in the story makes most live online sets totally irrelevant. That's why I hate those sets, and never listen to them. Some of the most boring tracks will have an amazing effect.
That's where real Djing comes in, not tracklists.
Sasha and Digweed kicked ass at Pepsi Forum, Digweed kicked ass when I saw him 3 months ago in LA... there's no reason why they will suddenly do a crappy set.
But I still think they should play one after the other, and not as a tag. They are better by themselves. |

a north american massive afterhour event is not an european commercial club opening night gig.
Don't expect the same thing at all...
Thanks again spin for your set, didn't have it and i usually listen to all their stuff, many unreleased tracks usually and many new ways to mix known tracks, always fun to listen to :)
if we are lucky we can even hear some maher daniel in their sets ;) |

You're welcome and I'll dig deeper and find something, that, even by S&D standards is darker and dirtier than even lenazi's review of Les Princesses :p
If at B&B they play the track at 36 min mark, my eyes will pop out of my head :eyespop: |
