don't think I've every waited longer than 30 mins for four previous ones. These guys don't try to book the Guetta's, Armins, Tiestos and deadhouses and then oversell

Spin did you really have the post the same thing 4 times??

but set aside the teasing, I think Franco Fabi does bring a great energy and i really liked his set at resolution.

Franci did a great job at Resolution 2008, I'm glad I at least got to check out him out that night before I got swiftly taken away by a friend who wasn't in the best shape to stick it out for the night. However the same friend is really looking to seeing him at BnB because she hasn't seen him since and did really like him then.

Personally I'm not to worried right now about of Franco will steal the show away from S&D, he is a experienced DJ and def knows what he is doing. And as Fran666 said he will play more prog for S&D, and is the opening DJ for 5 hours before S&D start not an easy job I would imagine. Playing the same sound for 5 hours I'm sure it will have it moments where it goes up and down to get the crowd ready for the main event.

Seaman dropped mediocre load of a set last year

For sure! a 5 hour set gives an artist lots of time and oppertunity to pl

I'm sure he will start off with a more clubby upbeat feel that will get people warmed up.

But there is lots of time near the end of his timeslot to move towards and more progressive sound to get everyone hyped.

During closing sets at Circus Franco has blown me away with some killer underground sounding progressive house and tech house , he definatly has it in him it's just a question of balance when you open for a headliner like S&D.

I don't even remember Seaman set at all last year, how bad is that. However Rauhofer and Mark Anthony still stand out in my head :)

I caught the end of his set... found it kind of trancy or at least VERY progressive...

Full of melodic breakdowns and gentle basslines... great for chilling but no at the intensity that I'm used too.

Maybe he was trying to hard to take things easy because he was opening for Peter.

Peter had some sweet moments but for me Mark Anthony and D-Formation were the ones that made the night worth every penny!

I've been reading and reading this thread .. I just love Sasha and Digweed and I'm no more a minor so I'm pretty much free to go anywhere now and I finally have the chance to see both these guys sunday night. But none of my friends want to come as they find that event 'way to gay' and they say they dont want 'their asses touched all night by homosexuals'. I'm really open to gay people and have no problem partying with them, but I've been told that this event is really awful if you go alone without girls (is it true?) and that many guys will come dance with you (is that true aswell?).
Oh please fellow TA's help me, I RLY RLY RLY want to buy my ticket this week to go and see S&D but what can I expect as a 18 year old guy (me) going alone at Black and blue ?

I hope my post offends no one, I'm simply looking for answers to my questions and hopefully have positive answers!

Bro. When you tells gays no they understand

probably a lot easier then if you are a girl telling some drunk guy no.....

and for all those unfortunate situations I always carry a bottle of Vasiline with me.

Just don't place yourself smack-dab in the middle of the dance floor where the bears are. Stay along the outskirts, kind of like being at the Bell Centre and dancing along the boards.

And btw, the Black is pretty much a 50-50 ratio of gay-straight. And as for your friends, that's what I love about the Black, it keeps this type of "close-minded" crowd away which adds to the vibe.

Overall people understand the word "no" at this event, unlike some of the "sharks" that attend some other events and clubs. I'm sure the ladies understand what I'm saying.

Go, buy a ticket.
