Its impossible to obtain the vocal parts for these artist. especially The Smashing Pumpkins, no acapellas exists on the net.. Red Hot Chili Peppers have a few though.

Havn't come across Pink Floyd acapellas, but I have several Smashing Pumpkins, RHCP, Stone Temple Pilots, etc acapellas along with many others that I have plans to use. I'm talking studio acapellas too. Not DIY bull. I luckily have a great connection for acapellas. Don't even ask me how my guy has access to them (I don't even know) but he continues to amaze me.

1979
Today
Cherub Rock
Zero
Siva

I'd really like to do Cherub Rock, but I can't imagine transferring it over to 4x4. 1979 has been done, but the master on it so bad it can be re-done again. Randy Boyer did a great remix of Disarm, which can't be topped IMO, so throw that one out the window. Everything else looks like game though.

Zero would be awesome. You are lucky to be in possession of such source material.

I guess. Being immersed in the scene for over a decade is finally starting to pay some dividends is the way I see it.

Why would you think about the listeners in the first place if you're not trying to please them? And you can have lots of ideas of course, but then what purpose would it serve you to think about the listener as you can't know for sure if he/she will like it or not.
