the thing is that a higher level athlete is harder to find than any of us and our run of the mill jobs.

You'd be surprised. I know people who have done ed up with good well paying jobs.

That may be true but the NFL did just fine without him....back up QB are a dime a dozen.....and right now, that's all he is.

but after spending years in jail did they get employed again by the same employer?
Zild
I'll take him anyday over Tony Homo.
lenazi
the eagles would not have signed him if he did not address a need that they could not find at equal value somewhere else. end of story.

i'm sure you are great at what you do, but at the end of the day someone else could do your job a lot easier than an nfl quarterback even if it is as a back up.
Zild
Yes. Even NFL scrubs are world class athletes. I'm just a world class .

I watched that 60 minute interview with Vick, and I remain unconvinced. First of all, the questions were boring and the replies were scripted. Why not ask him hard hitting questions like

We fight dogs in the south. Big ing deal. We also use them for hunting. Ever seen a pit take down a boar? Sometimes the pit gets killed.

yea well i think hunting is pretty lame too. i know it's supposed to balance everything out like overpopulation of deer, etc... but unless you are having to kill for food, i don't really get the thrill of hunting something down and killing it and hanging it on your wall. lol it's like guys who have to drive big bad trucks because they are compensating for small penises or being secretly gay. :toothless

Of course it was all scripted. I guarantee all questions had to be pre-approved before hand. The only thing Vick is sorry about is getting caught.
