anyway...i would just like to reiterate my arugment before. there's a lot more to this than just, "oh i hate michael vick, he killed dogs"

There's another side to it, I guess. Sure, being indifferent to his actions may be disgusting, but don't you think that giving the guy the opportunity to redeem himself wouldn't be possible if we sometimes didn't turn our heads and moved on with our lives in similar cases? (maybe not this one, if he's really smug about it). It's not all that bad, don't you think? |

At the risk of turning this into a gay joke, would you have given a if it'd been cockfighting?
Obviously, as shown by the fact that dogfighting is so popular, not everyone agrees with you about dogs only being for companionship. Some breeds, when trained, turn into lethal killers, whether it's humans, other dogs, or any other living thing.
Are you going to bitch about everyone that trains their guard dogs, but doesn't fight them? It's kind of like giving a male teen porn, but babysitting him so that he never s.
Look, I understand that everyone's got cute, cuddly images of their pugs & shih tzus, but that those aren't the breeds being fought. Very few people buy rottweilers or pit bulls because they're sweet. |

No, they're supposed to be athletes, and winners. That is their job.
Just because people look up to them does not mean they should.
Charles Barkley had this one right. You should only care about what an athlete does for the 3 hours he's on the field. |
