the man has done his time and won't do any more dog fights so there is really no point getting upset. Guess what, people will make animals fight each other...they will also kill other human beings. It has happened for centuries and will keep on happening. Michael Vick is allowed to work. Had you been caught for possession of cocaine back in your user days and gone to jail, should you have not been allowed to work upon your release?

I thought you did. Anyway, you know that "An eye for an eye" thing? That's because "A whole Mexican village for an eye" is a bit of an overkill, and the laws must be as fair as possible. If you think his time in prison is too light and he needs a harsher punishment, I understand, but this is up to jurists - they can't kill the guy (well, I think they can kill him in the US, but that's a different topic altogether), so they need to come up with a penalty that fits the crime. It can't be compared to someone that stole candy from a grocery store, or a serial killer that raped and incinerated small children to get rid of all evidence, you know what I'm saying? |

lira, at one point i was studying for the LSAT and considering law school back when i was a full time paralegal and going to college part time. but i have abandoned that idea along with working in the legal field entirely.
and i was just making a joke at hal's comment about throwing him in a ring of pitbulls.
i already stated that i know he's done his time, etc... but that he still comes on TV with that smug look on his face and i believe in my heart that he still doesn't give a about what he did, and most likely has that attitude like, "wtf, they're just dogs, why is everyone trippin"
