I cooked that up as a parody of both the people doing "Adagio" remakes and the people aping Deadmau5's early style. Took about thirty minutes to make I think, a lot of which was spent in turning the Barber's Adagio MIDI into eighth notes, LOL. |

nope bt went into pop because that is the type of edm he was able to pull of and also complements his style of producing.

i just wish to point out that just because glitch is a well used tool among makers of dance,does there for not mean his work is not leading the way right now. |

That's because about 10 years ago is when all the super saw epic trance stuff started. Which stuck until today.
I think most of those "complaining" are going much further back then when this sound came into play. |

Not really, it's been reissued in various forms several times. There are several copies available for sale right on that Discogs-page, for instance. |

Yes I noticed the copies for sale there, some differences in the releases though. Not sure which one I should go for :p
Also, are the other Behind the Eye volumes worth getting? I recognise a couple of the tracks on them. |

To me it looks like the tracklists are nearly identical on all of them, so I don't think it really matters which release you buy.
There are only two volumes in the Behind The Eye-series. Vol. 2 is not as good as Vol. 1 (I don't think The Orange Theme or Superstring are anywhere near as good as the best releases on Eye Q otherwise), but it still has brilliant tunes like The V.S. and Firedance that are well worth getting if you're not gonna buy the vinyl. |

Thanks to both of you, I realised vol. 3 was released on a different label (Eye Q America), so I guess that's why you're saying it's not part of the series. Do you recon any online store sells these as CD? I guess vinyl could work too, but I'm not to sure about getting it through discogs.
The differences in the releases are Cafe Del Mar getting removed and Wonderer getting replaced with a different remix, just reading from discogs. |
