Wp douche wp. |
Legitimate in your delerious delusional mind, yes very true. At least I blamed it on drugs, but I see that its your delusional mind that is the culprit. |

Yeh sorry but Mr Kismet is 100% in the right.
I'm a member at a bodybuilding forum and have been for 5 years and noone starts with me there like they do here. In fact I am worshipped there lol
There are some sour ass apples in here the same ones who rape many perfectly fine threads with angry useless narcissitic rants. No one cares about all the negativity you see in whatever music you listen to. That only means you are a negative person and noone gives a .
If mods ever governed this place people would treat each other better cause those sour apples would be stepped on and squashed.
Now lets see, someone who would like to argue with me because they need to point out that Im being negative at negativity so that makes us both negative and the entire universe negative please eat it, chew it, swallow it, and shut the up.
People gotta compain still when everyone knows he is right. |

I think this is mostly a product of the DJ revolution. 10 years ago, one morning everyone and their mother woke up and decided that they were DJs. 5 years later, they all decided they were also producers.
Most of them aren't musicians in the artistic sense. They are musicians in the sense that they produce garbage using whatever sample packs, loops, etc.. they can, and spend the entire time thinking "YEAH PEOPLE WIL DANCE TO THIS I WIL GET LAID AND MAEK MONEYS".
Now they're so ed up that they feel the need to make new genre names on a daily basis.
"Leftfield"? WTF?
Oh, and apparently the word electro can be thrown into any other genre name to make it sound cooler now. Funny how none of it actually sounds anything like electro, though. |

I definitely bruised some egos here. It reminds me of the time I told this guy the comic book character Deadpool was stupid and he nearly cried. That guy was 25.
How old is everyone here?
Honestly, if my post was complete bull then nobody would have responded, but it resonated deep within you guys and the truth is coming to light. |

"Your argument is invalid because I like the trashy epic trance more than I like anything you have produced." |

Some people are always backward looking. In 50 million years time, there ill be producers saying dance music was better when they were younger.
Recognising this eternal status quo opens your mind.
In AD 30 a high ranking Bishop said Christmas had gone down hill nad become a gluttonous materilaist festival.
In other words a proportion of people always think yesterday was better than today.
IMO, and I'm 42, todays trance is way better than even stuff 4 years ago. |

| people complaining about people like earlier trance because of nostalgia i find abit weird. what is music if not a catalyst for bringing up good memories and a tool for making what you do exactly now more memorable? lets say music today are alot better, but what does it matter if you dont listen to it with good friends and having i good time? i think this is what desides what is good music for you personaly. i even like pop lately, not beacuse its good music but its what i often listen to on parties lately. this is how i some years ago come to suddenly love punk-music too. Or Iron Maiden... I used to hate metal but suddenly those long epic guitar solos where the coolest thing... beacuse i was drunk with good friends having an awesome time. so yeah with this definition trance is mostly dead to me as I rarely listen to it other than at home, doing my therapy. But sometimes (like last week) a couple of friends of mine hooked up some 1210s and a mixer and dug out the old vinyl classics, trance was very alive that saturday and i got wasted as in the old times lol. music is all about nostalgia, some people complaining about living in the past etc is probably people who either did not experience anything in the past or have better experience with something else than trance right now. it has nothing to do about good music or bad music beacuse this is avaliable at all times. |

| I put last years above&beyond compilation on yesterday whilst cleaning a room - it was a really great experince and the cleaning I didnt want to end - wierd I know, but try it. Takes me 1.5 - 2 hours to clean a room, as Im a bit obsessive (even clean light bulbs, plant leaves, walls, wires) - that same attention to detail that took me into production:eyes:  |
