For the record, I just want to make it clear that I don't like cheesy music with big build ups that make you throw your hands in the air and sh*t. lol :p

Dammit, I'm upset I couldn't make it to Compression in Friday :( I kept getting texts about how good the music was.

I cant blame the music or Producers for the way some might feel in this thread. Maybe its the DJs you guys are seeing? Cause the music itself is doin some nice things.

Just the past 2 months, i've heard plenty of amazing music. And this is the END of the year, where things usually slow down and labels start to hold back their goods for a strong start in 09. If I were to compare the amount of great music i've heard in EDM to the good music in other genres this year, its ridiculous how much good EDM music there is. So I think part of the issue might be that we are spoiled, even there is plenty of riches to enjoy.

Dop - The Dust (Dop Remix)
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts - Raw
Sacha Dive - Panther EP
Deetron - Zircon/Orange
Jagged - Langenthal (Brothers Vibe Remix)
A Work In Progress EP
Seuil EP on Freak n Chic
Oxia EP on 8bit
Delano Smith 'Midnite' EP
Floating Points EP
Forthcoming Nomi & Rampa - Inside EP on Rebirth
Kink - Psyche Funk EP
Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey
Amazing Snuggle & Slap Compilation on Circus

And thats just the past 2 months, if you look throughout the year, i've been swamped in goodness. Sure if you're comparing this year to an enlightening EDM year for you, it might not be the best year, for me there been a lot of great music this year, very hard to complain about the music, its been enjoyable enough.

Ya, he is doing a USA tour this Jan for sure. Maybe it's not written on myspace or anywhere else yet until all the dates are finalized?
