Have any of you installed a hybrid OS at any time?

I'm really tempted to install OS6/OS5 hybrid on my storm

I have a hybrid OS on my 9700. Includes 31 OS6 files too. It's completely safe. Just use BBSAK to backup your apps and databases before.

rumour has it that Storm 3 is coming out later this year so I think I'm just going to play it safe and keep 5.0.0.591 on mine for now

Hey LKD, I've searched to find conclusive evidence that the new BlackBerry OS6 is based on WebOS, but to no avail. Do you have a link?

I have read that they use RootKit for their web browser, but nothing about WebOS.

In all honesty, it doesn't make any sense to me that it would use WebOS (now a HP product) for their own OS.
