just FYI, for those who wonders, the vocals from the intro are taken from the track Prosper - None of Those
and yeah, it's one of the best set i've heard in a long time ! |

Na the sample in 'None of Those Reasons' is much shorter - I'm pretty sure they both sample peace division |

I can see what J00f means by "going back" in the intro - this mix sounds very much like the old reverby big room "prog" sound J00f had around 2002-3. Whether going back to that sound is a good thing or not is of course another story. I also find it humorous that the Club Therapy-sample is used in the kind of multilayered, complex and flashy FX-laden trance set this EM is.
Some killer tunes in here nonetheless (such as Femtronics, which is actually good old gen.6 under her real name, for those of you who remember her), and it's good to finally get a trance mix on mainstream radio that actually takes its time to build up properly. |

heh I spotted you listening to it yesterday :p
tbh, the only thing that sounds weird to me, is sea song, but that's because I'm used to playing it at 145-148ish so it seems way slower here, but it's definitely the best 'trance' essential mix since I don't know when. |

| I agree with Sea Song. I feel that is the track that is a bit out of place here. It's way too mellow IMO. |

| This has been one of the better Essential Mix's I've heard in a long time. Can anyone point me in the right direction for more of this type of trance, love it. |

I would suggest going to see J00F. I do not know of any other DJ's that play like this, I'm sure there is though. |
